Advent Quiet Day 2018

Reflecting on the Word made Flesh with Lancelot Andrewes

On Christmas day in 1611, Lancelot Andrewes preached a sermon at Whitehall before King James 1, on John 1:14 “And the Word was made Flesh, and dwelt among us.” This sermon, rich in evocative imagery, and much beloved by T.S. Eliot, will be the subject of our Advent Quiet Day reflection, led by the Rev. Daniel Graves.
