The Order of the Holy Cross has a new Superior

The Order of the Holy Cross has a new Superior! Br. Robert James Magliula OHC was elected on Thursday, June 8 by all professed members of our international Order gathered at the Annual General Meeting at Holy Cross Monastery in the Upper Hudson Valley. Br. Robert James was installed in office on Saturday June 10 by the outgoing Superior, Br. Robert Sevensky OHC. He will serve for an initial six year term. He brings to his new office years of experience as a chaplain, parish priest, therapist, artist and monastic. He was a member of the OHC monastic community in South Africa for five years, where he served as Principal of our Holy Cross School. Most recently he has served as local Vocations Director and Novice Master for the community at Holy Cross Monastery.
